Did you perform the Power Door Lock Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Disconnect the rear door lock motor connector at the door latch.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the TAN (294) wire cavity A of the motor connector (for Liftgate) and ground (or TAN 246 cavity B for Cargo doors).
  3. Press any of the door lock switches to the Unlock position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

Repair one of the following OPEN circuits depending on the option content:

    • CKT 294 (TAN) between the rear door lock motor and splice S334.
    • CKT 246 (TAN) between the rear door lock motor S230.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

  1. Connect a test lamp between the GRY (295) wire cavity B of the motor connector and ground.
  2. Press any of the door lock switches to the lock position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in CKT 295 (GRY) between the rear door lock motor and splice S335 (S316 for Cargo doors).

Is the repair complete?

Replace the rear door lock motor.

Is the repair complete?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
