Did you perform the Power Door Locks Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Roll down the windows to prevent lock out.
  2. Turn the key to the RUN position.
  3. Check for battery voltage with DMM at pins 7 and 10 of the Driver Door Relay (located in Relay Center #1).

Is battery voltage present at both pins?

Go to Step 4

Repair the OPEN in CKT 540 (ORN) betwen the inoperative pin and S227.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 9

  1. Replace the Driver Door Relay.
  2. Attempt to operate the LH door in the lock and unlock positions.

Does the system operate correctly?

--

Go to Step 9

Check continuity of the following four CKT's:

    • CKT 1391 (LT GRN) between cavity 6 of the Driver Door Lock Relay and cavity A4-C2 of the Body Control Module (BCM).
    • CKT 694 (TAN) between cavity 9 of the Driver Door Relay and cavity B of the LF Door Lock Motor.
    • CKT 295 (GRY) between cavity A of the LF Door Lock Motor and cavity E of the (all doors) Door Lock Relay (NOT THE DRIVER DOOR RELAY!).
    • CKT 1050 (BLK) between cavity 8 of the Driver Door Relay and G200.

Was a wiring fault found and repaired?

Check for battery voltage from cavity 9 of the Driver Door Relay while pressing the UNLOCK switch on the vehicle.

Is battery voltage present?

--

Go to Step 7

Replace the LF Door Lock Motor.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 9

Replace the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 9

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
