Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 300072 Size: SH
  1. Remove the nuts that retain the bucket seat to the floor. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 300124 Size: MH
  2. Disconnect the power seat electrical connector from the floor.
  3. Remove the power seat and riser from the vehicle.

    4. Object Number: 300093 Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat riser.
  5. Remove the bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat.
  6. Disconnect the power seat adjuster electrical connector from the back of the power seat switch.

    7. Object Number: 300115 Size: SH
  7. Remove the seat riser spacer and the power seat adjuster from the seat.

  8. Remove the power seat adjuster from the seat risers.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the power seat adjuster to the seat risers.

    2. Object Number: 300115 Size: SH
  2. Install the seat riser spacer and the power seat adjuster to the seat.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat riser.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the seat bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat riser to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  4. Connect the power seat adjuster electrical connector to the back of the power seat switch.

    5. Object Number: 300093 Size: SH
  5. Install the bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat riser.
  6. Install the bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat riser to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  7. Install the power seat and riser in the vehicle.

    8. Object Number: 300124 Size: MH
  8. Connect the power seat electrical connector to the floor.

    9. Object Number: 300072 Size: SH
  9. Install the nuts that retain the bucket seat to the floor. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts that retain the power seat to the floor to 43 N·m (32 lb ft).

  10. Check to ensure that the power seat adjuster operates properly.
