Removal Procedure
  1. Open and support the liftgate.
  2. Remove the strut. Refer to Liftgate Strut Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 362012 Size: SH
  3. Remove the strut ball from the lid or body by turning counterclockwise.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 362012 Size: SH
  1. Install the strut ball to lid or body by turning clockwise into the weldnut.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the strut ball to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  2. Install the strut. Refer to Liftgate Strut Replacement .
  3. Install the support. Close liftgate.
