The services shown in this schedule up to 166 000 km (100,000 miles) should be performed after 166 000 km (100,000 miles) at the same intervals.

The services shown in this schedule up to 240 000 km (150,000 miles) should be performed after 240 000 km (150,000 miles) at the same intervals.

† The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency or the California Air Resources Board has determined that the failure to perform this maintenance item will not nullify the emission warranty or limit recall liability prior to the completion of the vehicle's useful life. GM, however, urges that all recommended maintenance services be performed at the indicated intervals and the maintenance be recorded.

# Lubricate the front suspension, the ball joints, the steering linkage, the park brake cable guides, and the brake pedal springs.

+ A good time to check your brakes is during tire rotation. Refer to Brake Pad Inspection in Disc Brakes and Brake Shoe Inspection in Drum Brakes.

** Drive axle service. For information on the proper fluid and lubricants to use, refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations .

    • The Locking Differential
        Drain the fluid and refill the fluid at the first engine oil change. At subsequent oil changes, inspect the fluid level and add fluid as necessary.
    • The Standard Differential
        Inspect the fluid level and add fluid as necessary at every oil change.

12 500 km (7,500 miles)

    • Change the engine oil and the filter (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first). An Emission Control Service †.

       Important:  Do not lubricate the ball joints unless the ball joint temperature is -12°C (10°F) or higher.

    • Lubricate the chassis components (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first). See footnote #.
    • Check the front/rear axle fluid level. Add fluid as needed. See footnote**.
    • Check the constant velocity joints and the axle seals for leaks.
    • Rotate the tires. See footnote+.

25 000 km (15,000 miles)

    • Change the engine oil and the filter (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first). An Emission Control Service †.

       Important:  Do not lubricate the ball joints unless the ball joint temperature is -12°C (10°F) or higher.

    • Lubricate the chassis components (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first). See footnote #.
    • Change the automatic transmission fluid and filter if the vehicle is driven under one or more of the following (severe service conditions):
       - In heavy city traffic where the outside temperature regularly reaches 32°C (90°F) or higher.
       - In hilly or mountainous terrain
       - When doing frequent trailer towing
       - Uses such as found in taxi, police, or delivery service. If you do not use your vehicle under any of these conditions, the fluid and filter change should be changed every 83 000 km (50,000 miles).
    • Check the front/rear axle fluid level. Add fluid as needed. See footnote**.
    • Check the constant velocity joints and the axle seals for leaks.
    • Rotate the tires. See footnote+.

37 500 km (22,500 miles)

    • Change the engine oil and the filter (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first). An Emission Control Service †.

       Important:  Do not lubricate the ball joints unless the ball joint temperature is -12°C (10°F) or higher.

    • Lubricate the chassis components (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first). See footnote #.

50 000 km (30,000 miles)

    • Change the engine oil and the filter (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first). An Emission Control Service †.

    • Lubricate the chassis components (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first). See footnote #.
    • Change the automatic transmission fluid and the filter (severe service conditions).
    • Check the front/rear axle fluid level. Add fluid as needed. See footnote**.
    • Check the constant velocity joints and the axle seals for leaks.
    • Rotate the tires. See footnote+.
    • Clean and repack the front wheel bearings (RWD only) (or at each brake relining, whichever occurs first).
    • Replace the air cleaner filter. An Emission Control Service [Dagger].
    • Replace the fuel filter. An Emission Control Service [Dagger].

62 500 km (37,500 miles)

    • Change the engine oil and the filter (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first). An Emission Control Service †.

112 500 km (67,500 miles)

    • Change the engine oil and the filter (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first). An Emission Control Service †.

    • Inspect the spark plug wires.
    • Replace the spark plugs. An Emission Control Service †.
    • Inspect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve.
    • Change the automatic transmission fluid and the filter (non-severe service conditions).

240 000 km (150,000 miles)

    • Drain, flush and refill the cooling system (or every 60 months since the last service, whichever comes first).
    • Inspect the hoses.
    • Clean the following components. An Emission Control Service †.
       - The radiator
       - The condenser
       - The pressure cap
       - The neck
    • Pressure test the cooling system and the pressure cap.
