Removal Procedure
- Remove the right knee bolster. Refer to Passenger Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- Remove the right cowl trim panel. Refer to Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Disconnect the vacuum hose from the defrost actuator.
- Depress the retaining clip and remove the defrost actuator from the air distribution housing.
Installation Procedure
- Install the defrost actuator to the air distribution housing.
- Connect the vacuum hose to the defrost actuator.
- Install the right cowl trim panel. Refer to Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Install the right knee bolster. Refer to Passenger Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
