This bulletin is being issued to revise DTC P0340 Camshaft Position
(CMP) Sensor Circuit Diagnostic in the Engine Controls - 4.3L sub-section
of the Service Manual. Please replace the current information in the Service
Manual with the following information.
The following information has been updated within SI. If you are using
a paper version of this Service Manual, please make a reference to this bulletin
on the affected page.
Step 15 in the diagnostic table has been revised to appropriately
lead you to Step 16 if one answers "No" to the question
at the end of the step.
These additional changes were also made to this document:

| • | Step 3 -- Corrected question to read " Is the test
lamp ON?" |
