Did you perform the HVAC Blower Controls System Check?

  1. Turn the mode switch to the OFF position.
  2. disconnect connector C2 of the HVAC control module.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

Does the blower motor continue to run?

Go to Step 3

Remove the A/C fuse.

Does the blower motor continue to run?

Inspect for a short to voltage on CKT 119.

Did you find a short to voltage?

Go to Step 10

  1. Disconnect the blower motor resistor/relay pack.
  2. Using a test lamp J 35616-200 check for voltage on CKT 60, CKT 63 and CKT 72.

Did you find voltage on any circuit.

Inspect for a short to voltage on CKT 52.

Did you find a short to voltage?

Go to Step 11

Repair the short to voltage on the affected circuit.

Is the repair complete?

Is the repair complete?

Replace the HVAC control module. Refer to Control Assembly Replacement .
