Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear seat form the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement

  2. Remove the seat belt buckle and latch retaining bolt from the seat frame.

    3. Object Number: 162216 Size: SH
  3. Remove the seat belt buckle and latch through the seat back.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat belt buckle and latch through the seat back.

    2. Object Number: 162219 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the seat belt buckle and latch retaining bolt to the seat frame.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt buckle and latch retaining bolt to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear bench seat in the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement in Seats.
