Did you perform the DRL System Check?

Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

Is the daytime running lamps (DRL) indicator lit?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
  2. Disconnect the DRL module.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

Is the DRL indicator lit?

Go to Step 6

Replace the DRL relay. Refer to Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Relay Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Replace the DRL module. Refer to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) Control Module Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Disconnect the instrument cluster.

Do the DRL remain lit?

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Is the replacement complete?

Repair the short to ground in CKT 592 (LT GRN/BLK) between the instrument cluster, the DRL module and the convenience center.
