Go to Headlight System Check

1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
2. Engage the parking brake.

Does the BRAKE indicator light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Brake System Diagnosis

1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
2. Disconnect the daytime running lamps (DRL) module.
3. Connect a DMMJ 39200 from the DRL module CKT 1134 (LT BLU) cavity A to ground.

Is there continuity?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Replace the DRL module. Refer to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) Control Module Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Headlight System Check

--

Inspect for an open in CKT 1134 (LT BLU) between the park brake warning switch and the DRL module.

Did you find an open?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in CKT 1134 (LT BLU) between the park brake warning switch and the DRL module.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Headlight System Check

--

Replace the park brake warning switch. Stop Lamp Switch Replacement

Is the repair complete?
