Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left rear bucket seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement

  2. Object Number: 162196  Size: SH
  3. Remove the seat belt bolt from the rear floor.
  4. Remove the body side trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side

  5. Object Number: 162125  Size: SH
  6. Remove the cover from the shoulder belt to expose the bolt.
  7. Remove the shoulder belt retaining bolt from the body side pillar
  8. Remove the retractor bolt from the body side panel.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 162125  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the retractor bolt to the body side panel.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the retractor bolt to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).

  3. Install the shoulder belt bolt to the body side pillar.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the shoulder belt bolt to the body side pillar to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  5. Install the cover to the shoulder belt.
  6. Install the body side trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side in Interior Trim.

  7. Object Number: 162196  Size: SH
  8. Install the seat belt bolt to the rear floor.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt bolt to the rear floor to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).

  10. Install the left rear bucket seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement in Seats.
