Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air inlet panel grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
  2. Raise and support the hood.

    3. Object Number: 321597 Size: SH
  3. Remove the hinge to fender nut.
  4. Remove the hinge to fender bolt.
  5. Remove the hinge to hood bolts.

    6. Object Number: 321595 Size: SH
  6. Remove the hinge from the hood.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 321595 Size: SH
  1. Install the hinge to the hood.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the hinge to hood bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the hinge to hood bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the hinge to fender nut.
  4. Install the hinge to fender bolt.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the hinge to fender bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  5. Lower the hood.
  6. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
