Did the Power Window System Check bring you here?

  1. Disconnect the left front power window motor.
  2. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  3. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 164 (DK BLU) cavity A at the left front power window motor connector to ground.
  4. Press the left front power window master switch in the UP position.

Did the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

  1. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 164 (DK BLU) cavity A to CKT 165 (BRN) cavity B at the left front power window motor.
  2. Press the left front power window master switch in the UP position.

Did the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Inspect for an open between CKT 164 (DK BLU) between the left front power window motor and the left front power window master switch.

Is there an open?

--

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Replace the left front power window motor. Refer to Power Window Motor Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Windows System Check

Inspect for an open in CKT 165 (BRN) between the left front power window motor and the left front power window master switch.

Is there an open?

--

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 7

Replace the left front power window master switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Windows System Check

Repair the open in CKT 164 (DK BLU) between the left front power window motor and the left front power window master switch.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 165 (BRN) between the left front power window motor and the left front power window master switch.

Is the repair complete?
