Did you perform the Outside Mirrors System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

1. Move the selector switch to the left position.
2. Disconnect the left outside power mirror.
3. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 82 (LT BLU) cavity A at the left outside power mirror to ground.
4. Press the switch to the LEFT position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 3

1. Using a test lampJ 35616-200 backprobe CKT 82 (LT BLU) at the outside rearview mirror control switch to ground.
2. Press the outside mirror control switch to the Left position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Locate and repair an open in CKT 82 (LT BLU) between the left outside power mirror and the outside rearview mirror control switch.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

--

Replace the outside rearview mirror control switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .

Does the LH power mirror operate properly?

--

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

--

1. Connect a test lamp from CKT 1496 (YEL) wire cavity C at left outside power mirror to ground.
2. Press the switch to the RIGHT position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 8

Replace the left outside power mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

Does the left power mirror operate properly?

--

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

--

Locate and repair open in CKT 1496 (YEL) between left outside power mirror and S501.

Is the repair complete?

--
