Did you perform the Outside Mirrors System Check?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

1. Disconnect the right outside power mirror.
2. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 889 (PPL/WHT) cavity D at the right outside power mirror to ground.
3. Move the selector switch to the right position.
4. Press the switch in the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

1. Using a test lampJ 35616-200 backprobe CKT 889 (PPL/WHT) from the outside rearview mirror remote control switch to ground.
2. Press the switch in the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

1. Connect a test lamp from CKT 1496 (YEL) wire cavity B at right outside power mirror to ground.
2. Press the switch to the UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 7

Go To Step 8

Locate and repair an open in CKT 889 (PPL/WHT) between the right outside power mirror and the outside rearview mirror control switch.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Replace the outside rearview mirror control switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Replace the right outside power mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Locate and repair open in CKT 1496 (YEL) between right outside power mirror and S 604.

Is the repair complete?
