Use a test lampJ 35616-200 in order to backprobe CKT 640 (ORN) cavity B or cavity F at the inoperative door lock switch to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in CKT 640 (ORN) between the inoperative door lock switch and splice S223.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

  1. Use a test lampJ 35616-200 in order to backprobe CKT 195 (LT BLU) cavity D at the inoperative door lock switch to ground.
  2. Place the door lock switch in the LOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Replace the inoperative door lock switch.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

  1. Use a test lampJ 35616-200 in order to backprobe CKT 194 (WHT) cavity H at the inoperative door lock switch to ground.
  2. Place the door lock switch in the UNLOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 11

Operate the inoperative door lock switch in both the LOCK and the UNLOCK positions.

Is the LOCK position still inoperative?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 9

Repair the open in CKT 195 (LT BLU) between the inoperative door lock switch and splice S232.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

Operate the inoperative door lock switch in both the LOCK and the UNLOCK position.

Is the UNLOCK position still inoperative?

Go to Step 10

Go to Step 11

Repair the open in CKT 194 (WHT) between the inoperative door lock switch and splice S231.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

Operate the inoperative door lock switch in both the LOCK and the UNLOCK positions.

Are both the LOCK and the UNLOCK positions still inoperative?
