Did you perform the power seats system check?

  1. Disconnect the inoperative seat adjuster switch assembly from the connector.
  2. Use a fused jumper in order to connect CKT 286 or 297 (DK BLU) to CKT 750 (BLK) at the inoperative seat adjuster switch.
  3. Momentarily connect CKT 287 or 298 (DK BLU) to CKT 540 (ORN) with a fused jumper lead at the inoperative seat adjuster switch.

Does the motor move?

Replace the inoperative seat adjuster switch. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Seats System Check

  1. Use a fused jumper in order to connect CKT 287 or 298 (DK BLU) to CKT 750 (BLK) at the inoperative seat adjuster switch.
  2. Momentarily connect CKT 286 or 297 (DK GRN) to CKT 540 (ORN) with a fused jumper lead at the inoperative seat adjuster switch.

Does the motor move?

--

Go to Step 3

  1. Disconnect the inoperative motor.
  2. Use an ohmmeter in order to check for continuity in CKT 287 or 298 (DK BLU) and CKT 286 or 297 (DK GRN) between the inoperative seat adjuster switch and the inoperative front tilt seat motor.

Does continuity exist?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the inoperative front tilt seat motor.

Refer to Seat Replacement - Power with Adjuster in seats.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Seats System Check

Repair the open in CKT 286 or 297 (DK GRN) and/or CKT 287 or 298 (DK BLU) from the inoperative front tilt seat motor to the inoperative seat adjuster switch.
