Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 300115  Size: SH
  1. Remove the screws from the rear trim cover.
  2. Remove the seat retaining bolts from the riser.
  3. Remove the side trim covers from the riser.
  4. Remove the screws retaining the power seat trim plate to the cover.
  5. Disconnect the power seat switch electrical connector.
  6. Remove the power seat switch from the trim plate by snapping the switch out.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the power seat switch to the trim plate by snapping the switch into place.
  2. Connect the power seat switch electrical connector.

  3. Object Number: 300115  Size: SH
  4. Install the screws retaining the trim plate to the cover.
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the riser-to-seat bolts through the riser, the trim cover, and the seat.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the riser to seat retaining bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  8. Install the rear trim cover.
  9. Install the rear trim cover retaining screws.
