Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat from the risers. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the hinge trim. Refer to Rear Seat Back Hinge Trim Replacement - Right Side .
  3. Important: Note the position and length of the bolts removed. This will assist with reassembly.

  4. Remove the bolts retaining the hinges to the seat cushion frame.
  5. Remove the J-hooks retaining the seat cushion trim cover to the seat cushion frame.
  6. Important: Note the locations of the hog rings for reassembly.

  7. Remove the hog rings retaining the seat cushion trim cover to the seat cushion frame.

  8. Object Number: 300212  Size: SH
  9. Remove the trim cover and pad from the seat cushion frame.
  10. Important: Note the locations of the hog rings for reassembly.

  11. Remove the hog rings retaining the trim cover to the pad.
  12. Remove the trim cover from the pad.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear seat trim cover to the pad.
  2. Install the hog rings retaining the trim cover to the pad in the locations noted during disassembly.

  3. Object Number: 300212  Size: SH
  4. Install the trim cover and the pad to the seat cushion frame.
  5. Install the hog rings retaining the seat cushion trim cover to the seat cushion frame in the locations noted during disassembly.
  6. Install the J-hooks retaining the seat cushion trim cover to the seat cushion frame.
  7. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Install the bolts retaining the hinges to the seat cushion frame.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  10. Install the hinge trim. Refer to Rear Seat Back Hinge Trim Replacement - Right Side .
  11. Install the rear seat to the rear seat risers. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
