Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 300075  Size: SH
  1. Remove the seat-riser-to floor nuts.
  2. Remove the following components from the side of the seat riser:
  3. • The seat belt
    • The seat belt guide
  4. Remove the seat and the riser from the vehicle.

  5. Object Number: 300065  Size: SH
  6. Remove the seat-riser-to-seat bolts
  7. Remove the seat from the seat risers.
  8. Remove the seat adjuster wire from the seat wire by sliding the spring on the wire away from the riser in order to release the wire.
  9. Remove the seat riser spacer nuts and bolts.
  10. Remove the seat riser spacer from the seat riser.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat adjuster wire to the seat risers.

  2. Object Number: 300065  Size: SH
  3. Install the seat to the seat riser.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the seat-to-seat-riser bolts.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the seat-to-seat-riser bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  7. Install the seat and riser assembly to the vehicle.
  8. Using the retaining bolt, install the following components to the side of the seat:
  9. • The seat belt guide.
    • The seat belt bolt.

    Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt bolt to 53 N·m (39  lb ft).

  10. Install the seat-riser-to-floor nuts.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the seat-riser-to-floor nuts to 43 N·m (32 lb ft).
