Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2003 🢒 Astro - 4WD 🢒 HVAC 🢒 Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning 🢒 Defroster Door Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

    2. Object Number: 687769 Size: SH
  2. Remove the air distribution duct. Refer to Air Distributor Duct Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the vacuum hoses mode actuator.
  4. Disconnect the defrost actuator vacuum hose from the defrost actuator.
  5. Depress the retaining clip and remove the defrost actuator from the air distribution housing.
  6. Remove the defroster door (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 687769 Size: SH
  1. Install the defroster door (2).
  2. Install the defrost actuator to the air distribution housing.
  3. Connect the defrost actuator vacuum hose to the defrost actuator.
  4. Connect the defrost actuator vacuum hose to the mode actuator.
  5. Install the air distribution duct. Refer to Air Distributor Duct Replacement .
  6. Install the instrument panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
