    • Rear window wiper/washer module

    • RR WIPER 20A fuse

Rear Wiper/Washer System Operation

The rear window wiper motor operation is controlled by the rear window wiper motor module. The rear wiper/washer system operating voltage is supplied through the rear window wiper/washer switch by the rear window wiper switch control circuits. The DELAY wiper operates at one interval speed when the delay/on control circuit and the off/delay control circuit are closed to accessory voltage by the rear wiper/washer switch. When the rear window wiper/washer switch is in the ON position accessory voltage is supplied to the rear window wiper motor module through the delay/on control circuit only. When the rear window wiper/washer switch is turned to the OFF position, accessory voltage is supplied to the rear window wiper motor module through the off/delay control circuit only and is used to return the rear window wiper motor to the park position before stopping the motor. The wiper motor park switch is supplied a reference voltage from the off/delay control circuit, and is inactive during the ON operating mode. The rear window wiper motor park switch is closed whenever the wiper motor is out of the park position, and 0 volts on the wiper motor park switch signal circuit indicates the wiper arm is in the park position.
