Removal Procedure
- Remove the screws retaining
the front half of the cladding to the front wheelhouse.
- Remove the push-in retainers from the front wheelhouse.
- Remove the nut from the stud on the front half of the cladding.
- Remove the push-in retainers that retain the front half of the
cladding to the retaining rail.
- Remove the cladding from the retaining rail.
- Remove the screws retaining
the rear half of the cladding to the rear wheelhouse.
- Remove the push-in retainers that retain the rear half of the
cladding to the retaining rail.
- Remove the retaining rail
screws.
- Remove the retaining rail from the body.
Installation Procedure
- Install the retaining
rail to the body.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the retaining rail screws.
Tighten
Tighten the retaining rail screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
- Install the
rear half of the cladding to the retaining rail.
- Install the push-in retainers that retain the cladding to the
retaining rail.
- Install the screws that retain the cladding to the rear wheelhouse.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
- Install the front half
of the cladding to the retaining rail.
- Install the push-in retainers that retain the front half of the
cladding to the retaining rail.
- Install the nut on the back of the cladding to the stud.
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
- Install the retainers into the front wheelhouse extension flange.
- Install the screws retaining the front half of the cladding to
the front wheelhouse.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
