Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2004 🢒 Astro - 4WD 🢒 HVAC 🢒 Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning 🢒 Recirculation Door Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

    2. Object Number: 280260 Size: SH
  2. Remove the recirculation door bolts.
  3. Remove the recirculation actuator vacuum connector.
  4. Remove the nuts that retain the recirculation actuator.
  5. Remove the recirculation actuator from the recirculation door.
  6. Remove the recirculation door assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 280260 Size: SH
  1. Install the recirculation door assembly to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the recirculation door assembly bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the nuts that retain the recirculation actuator.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the recirculation actuator vacuum connector.
  5. Install the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
