The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment that their rear cloth seat cushions exhibit indentations or markings in the fabric.
Recommendation/Instructions:
The root cause may be the way the floor mats have been placed in the vehicle, either from the assembly plant, in transit or at the dealership prior to delivery. If the floor mats are placed/stored on the cloth seat cushion, it is possible to transfer indentations/markings onto the seat fabric. Before replacing the cloth seat cover/cushion, it may be possible to remove these markings from the fabric by running a small hand held steamer with brush over the fabric for 15-20 seconds.
Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
