  1. Remove front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement and Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
  3. Remove floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
  4. Remove front center seat. Refer to Front Center Seat Replacement .
  5. Remove front seat belt buckles. Refer to Front Seat Belt Buckle Replacement .
  6. Remove rear seat belt buckles. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement .
  7. Remove front door sill plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  8. Remove rear door sill plates. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  9. Remove front hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  10. Remove center pillar lower molding. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Replacement .

  2. Remove rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement and Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
  3. Remove floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
  4. Remove front center seat. Refer to Front Center Seat Replacement .
  5. Remove front seat belt buckles. Refer to Front Seat Belt Buckle Replacement .
  6. Remove rear seat belt buckles. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement .
  7. Remove front door sill plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  8. Remove rear door sill plates. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  9. Remove front hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  10. Remove center pillar lower molding. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Replacement .

Component Name

Danger: Always perform the High Voltage Disabling procedure prior to servicing any High Voltage component or connection. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and proper procedures must be followed.

The High Voltage Disabling procedure will perform the following tasks:

   • Identify how to disable high voltage.
   • Identify how to test for the presence of high voltage.
   • Identify condition under which high voltage is always present and personal protection equipment (PPE) and proper procedures must be followed.
Failure to follow the procedures exactly as written may result in serious injury or death.

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the hybrid high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Disabling .
  2. Remove front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  3. Remove rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement .
  4. Remove the drive motor generator battery storage box. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Battery Replacement .
  5. Remove rear seat riser. Refer to Rear Seat Riser Replacement .
  6. Remove the instrument panel center support bracket.
  7. Remove front floor console, if equipped. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
  8. Remove front center seat, if equipped. Refer to Front Center Seat Replacement .
  9. Remove front door sill plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  10. Remove rear door sill plates. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  11. Remove front hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  12. Remove center pillar lower molding. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Replacement .

  2. Enable the hybrid high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Enabling .
