Subject:Can Not Program Tire Pressure After Installing Passengers Door Module

Models:2004-2006 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT
2004-2006 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe
2004-2006 GMC Denali, Denali XL, Yukon, Yukon XL
1500 Series Vehicles Only



The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Unable to program the tire pressure monitoring system (TPM) after the Passengers door module (PDM) was replaced. You may also notice that performing the set up procedure that is listed in bulletin: 04-03-16-002 will not resolve the condition.

Recommendation/Instructions:

The PDM will not relearn the TPM system until the Keyless Entry Transmitters have been properly programmed to the vehicle. Program the Keyless Entry Transmitters first and attempt to program the TPM system again.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
