The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Customer may have a concern of the right front power window inoperative, but all other door functions work properly, RKE, power door locks, etc. When scanning the PDM (Passenger Door Module) Data, with the Tech 2, you may notice that when the power window switch is pressed either up or down the Tech 2 will display "UP" in both directions. This could lead you to replace the PDM unnecessarily.
Before the PDM is replaced, check for power at the PDM c1 terminal 2 (circuit 1340 ORN) and ground at c1 terminal 3 (circuit 1050 BLK). A loss of power or ground at either of these terminals will cause this issue.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
