Preliminary Procedure Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging . Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
1	Orifice Tube Fitting Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section. Tip Loosen orifice tub fitting and separate the pressure line to access the orifice. Tighten 9 N·m (80 lb in)
2	O-ring Seal Tip Remove and discard O-ring. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .
3	Orifice Tube Assembly Tip Use J 26549-E to remove orifice tube.

Component Name

Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .

Fitting, Orifice Tube

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Tip

•	It may be necessary to remove the auxiliary pressure line to separate the orifice tube.

•	Loosen orifice tub fitting and separate the pressure line to access the orifice.

Seal, O-ring

Tip
Remove and discard O-ring. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .

Orifice Tube Assembly

Tip
Use J 26549-E to remove orifice tube.
