The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some owners may notice that Rear Heated Seats are listed as an option on their 2007-2008 Chevrolet Avalanche window sticker. Rear Heated seats are not currently an option on the 2007-2008 Chevrolet Avalanche. Some vehicles may have had this option mistakenly listed for certain equipment groups.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Even though the window sticker mistakenly lists rear heated seats, the customer was never charged for this option.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
