The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Chevrolet Aveo Immobilizer is Optional
Recommendation/Instructions:
Service information mentions programming the Immobilizer system, you might also notice that you have no communication with the Immobilizer.
The Immobilizer system is only used on Aveos that have a " BAH" option code. Check the RPO Options to see if you have "BAH" option.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
