Removal Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1248489 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the manual gearshift lever boot, if equipped with manual transmission.

    3. Object Number: 1248490 Size: SH
  3. Remove the screws from the floor console.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  5. Engage the parking brake lever at full up position and release the park brake lever boot from the console
  6. Lift up on the floor console.
  7. Remove the floor console from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1248490 Size: SH
  1. Position the floor console to the vehicle and install park brake boot over park brake lever.
  2. Lower park brake lever.
  3. Connect the electrical connector.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the floor console screws.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the floor console screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  5. Install the gearshift lever boot, if equipped with manual transmission.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
