Rear Compartment Lid Lock Cylinder Replacement Hatchback

1. Remove the hatchback door lower garnish molding, if equipped.
2. Disconnect the lock rod.
3. Remove the nuts and the lock cylinder.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install the lock cylinder with the nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the luggage compartment lock cylinder nuts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

2. Connect the lock rod.
3. Install the hatchback door lower garnish molding, if equipped.
