Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1248402 Size: SH
  1. Open the rear cargo area.
  2. Remove the rear cargo area trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the bolt and the seat belt retractor in the rear cargo area.

    4. Object Number: 1248403 Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolt and the seat belt anchor on the rear quarter upper pillar.

    5. Object Number: 1248404 Size: SH
  5. Pull the rear seat knob and fold the rear seat cushion.
  6. Remove the seat belt with bolt.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1248402 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat belt retractor in the rear cargo area with the bolt.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1248404 Size: SH
  2. Install the seat belt with the bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt bolt to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).

  3. Fold the rear seat back into the up right position.

    4. Object Number: 1248403 Size: SH
  4. Install the seat belt anchor to the rear quarter upper pillar with the bolt.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt anchor bolt to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).

  5. Install the rear cargo area trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
