Cupholder Replacement Hatchback

1. Remove the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement .
2. Remove the screws and the cupholder from the instrument panel.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install the cupholder with the screws.

Tighten
Tighten the cupholder screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

2. Install the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement .

Cupholder Replacement Notchback

1. Slide the cupholder open.
2. Push down on the retaining tab and remove the cupholder from the instrument panel.

1. Install the cupholder to the instrument panel by sliding forward making sure the retaining tab locks in.
2. Slide the cupholder in and out to make sure it functions correctly.
