Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement Hatchback

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1248477 Size: SH
  1. Remove the bolt and the upper front seat belt anchor.

    2. Object Number: 1248478 Size: SH
  2. Remove the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the screws and the seat belt bracket.

    4. Object Number: 1248479 Size: SH
  4. Pry off the upper center pillar trim panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1248479 Size: SH
  1. Install the upper center pillar trim panel.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1248478 Size: SH
  2. Install the seat belt bracket with the screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt bracket screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Install the upper front seat belt anchor with the bolt.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt anchor bolt to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1248477 Size: SH
  1. Remove the bolt and the upper front seat belt anchor.
  2. Remove the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Pry off the upper center pillar trim panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1248477 Size: SH
  1. Install the upper center pillar trim panel.
  2. Install the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the upper front seat belt anchor with the bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt anchor bolt to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).
