Some customers may comment that one or more electrical systems are not operating properly. Warranty claims have been submitted that show repairing a wire harness has corrected the concern.
GM Engineering would like to understand the conditions and causes that lead to wire harness repair. PRIOR to completion of any wiring repairs, complete the following steps and document the information on the repair order.
Important: Clock times must be recorded on the repair order with documentation for diagnosis and repair. Clock time will be used for submitting the warranty claim.
