Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2049256 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Remove the knock sensor bolt (1).
  3. Remove the knock sensor (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2049256 Size: SH
  1. Install the knock sensor (2).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the knock sensor bolt (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the knock sensor bolt (1) to 20  N·m (14.7 lb ft).

  3. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
