Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2042546 Size: SH
  1. Remove the EVAP canister vent.
  2. Disconnect the inlet and outlet hose from the EVAP canister.
  3. Remove the EVAP canister bracket retaining bolt.
  4. Remove the EVAP canister (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2042546 Size: SH
  1. Install the EVAP canister (1).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the EVAP canister bracket retaining bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten evaporative emission canister bracket retaining bolt to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  3. Connect the inlet and outlet hose to the EVAP canister.
  4. Install the EVAP canister vent.
