Removal Procedure
- Remove the fuel fill cap.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
- Remove the fuel sender assembly access cover.
- Disconnect the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the FTP from the fuel sender assembly.
Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.
Installation Procedure
- Install the FTP sensor to the fuel sender assembly.
- Connect the FTP sensor electrical connector.
- Install the fuel pump access cover.
- Install the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Install the fuel fill cap.
