For 1990-2009 cars only
- Operate the engine until normal operating temperature.
- Stop the engine and raise the vehicle.
- Drain the fluid after removing the drain plug.
- Install the drain plug and tighten to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).
- Remove the oil level plug and replenish the fluid until it begins to run out.
- Reinstall the oil level plug and tighten to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).
Specifications
The coolant temperature is 80-90°C (176-194°F).
Danger: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.
