BACKGLASS REVEAL MOULDING LOOSE/NOT FLUSH

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987-88 "L" CAR -----------------

Comments have been made that the backglass reveal mouldings are loose or not flush on the subject vehicles.

Service correction for this condition consists of installing a revised lace. The part numbers for the revised laces are 10092382 for the coupe and 10092380 for the sedan.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Remove backglass.

2. Clean edge of glass.

3. Press the new lace onto the glass. (Butyl is present at the base of the slot of the lace).

4. Apply urethane to glass.

5. Reinstall glass and lace assembly into the opening.
