Some cases of seat back trim pulling loose from the seat back on the 1988 Berettas may be reported. To repair this condition use the following procedure:
1. Remove front seat back head restraint and inertia lock knob as described in Section 9L-7 of the Corsica/ Beretta Service Manual.
2. Remove seat back cover.
3. Drill a 3/16" hole through the plastic trim retainer and the metal side frame just above the main side support tube.
4. Install self tapping screw, P/N 20365264 through the plastic trim retainer into seat metal frame.
5. Reinstall seat head restraint, inertia lock knob, and seat back cover.
