Some cases of seat back trim pulling loose from the seat back on the 1988 Berettas may be reported. To repair this condition use the following procedure:
1. Remove front seat back head restraint and inertia lock knob as described in Section 9L-7 of the Corsica/Beretta Service Manual.
2. Remove seat back cover.
3. Drill a 3/16" hole through the "J" retainer and the metal frame as indicated on the Illustration.
4. Install self tapping screw, P/N 20365264 through "J" retainer into seat metal frame.
5. Reinstall seat head restraint, inertia lock knob, and seat back cover.
Use the most applicable labour operation from the Canadian Labour Time Guide and claim 0.3 hours.
