CONDITION: SOME 1991 L MODELS MAY EXPERIENCE AN INOPERATIVE RADIO DISPLAY WITH HEAD LAMPS OR PARK LAMPS ON.

CAUSE : 1991 L CAR MODELS FEATURE A PULSE WIDTH MODULATED DIMMING DESIGN FOR RADIO DISPLAY, AND CANNOT BE USED WITH ANY OTHER TYPE OF RADIO. ALTHOUGH SIMILAR IN APPEARANCE, UPGRADING OR SUBSTITUTING ANY OTHER STYLE OF RADIO WILL RESULT IN AN INOPERATIVE DISPLAY WITH HEADLIGHTS ON.

CORRECTION: USE ONLY L CAR SPECIFIC RADIOS FOR EXCHANGE OR UPGRADE. THE FOLLOWING ARE PART NUMBERS TO BE USED ONLY WITH 1991 L-CAR MODELS.
