INFO. ON REPLACEMENT OF GUIDE LOOP COVERS ON FRONT SEAT BELT

Subject: INFORMATION ON REPLACEMENT OF GUIDE LOOP COVERS ON FRONT SEAT BELTS

Model and Year: 1991-93 CORSICA AND BERETTA

If one of the guide loop covers on the front seat belts of some 1991-93 "L" cars becomes broken or is found to be missing, a replacement guide loop cover is available separate from the seat belt assembly itself. The seat belt assembly DOES NOT need to be replaced when there is a problem with the guide loop cover.

1. Remove bolt holding the guide loop to the pillar using J23457 - seat belt anchor tool.

2. Remove the guide loop cover from the guide loop.

3. Install new guide loop cover.

4. Install bolt to pillar, tighten to 42 N.m (31 lbs. ft.) using J23457 - seat belt anchor tool, and snap new guide loop cover into place over the guide loop and anchor bolt.
