ON SOME BASE LEVEL INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTERS, THE RECEPTACLE TERMINAL FOR THE GROUND PIN OF THE TEMPERATURE GAGE IS TURNED 90 DEGREES OUT OF POSITION. THE TERMINAL'S TAB MAY BE TOO CLOSE TO THE 8 CKT (DIMMING CIRCUIT) CAUSING A SHORT CIRCUIT.
REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER. REFER TO SECTION 8C IN THE SERVICE MANUAL FOR PROCEDURE.
