Condition
Some owners may comment on a rough engine idle following engine service
requiring EGR adapter gasket replacement.
Cause
The engine may have had an incorrect EGR adapter gasket installed during
servicing. In effect, this will cause low intake manifold vacuum causing the
fuel pressure to go up and cause the engine to run very rough and rich.
Correction
Make sure the correct EGR adapter gasket for the correct application
is used.
