Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 1996 🢒 Blazer - 2WD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.2L 🢒 Camshaft Removal
  1. Remove the cylinder head. Refer to Cylinder Head Removal.
  2. Remove the valve lifters and anti-rotation brackets. Refer to Valve Lifter Removal.
  3. Remove the oil pump drive. Refer to Oil Pump Drive Removal.
  4. Remove the crankshaft pulley. Refer to Crankshaft Pulley Removal.
  5. Remove the crankshaft pulley hub. Refer to Crankshaft Pulley Hub Removal.
  6. Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Removal.
  7. Remove the timing chain tensioner. Refer to Timing Chain and Tensioner Removal.
  8. Remove the camshaft sprocket and remove the timing chain. Refer to Timing Chain and Tensioner Removal.

    9. Object Number: 4321 Size: SH
  9. Remove the thrust plate bolts.

    10. Object Number: 30275 Size: SH
  10. Remove the camshaft position sensor.

    11. Important: Do not damage the camshaft bearings while removing the camshaft.

  11. Remove the camshaft.
